The provisional national voters’ register and provisional local authority voters’ register are on display at constituency offices countrywide, among other places, until Friday, September 25. The full list of places where the list is available for inspection in office hours is listed under the Key Documents section of this website (see the Government Gazette that was issued on September 16). Voters can check their details are correct. If there are the names of people who are not entitled to vote or errors on the registers objections can be made.

You have until 19h00 on Saturday August 22 2015 to register to vote for the local and regional elections if you do not already have a valid voters card for these elections.
Don't forget to go and register to vote. Supplementary Registration ends on the 20th of September 2014. If you haven't registered this year and want to vote in the upcoming National Assembly and Presidential elections this will be your last chance.
The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) is carrying out a General Registration of Voters (GRV) in the run-up to the 2014 National Assembly and Presidential elections to be held towards the end of the year. The voter registration period, which started on January 15th, will run until March 2nd 2014.
Based on the 2011 population census approximately 1.3 million Namibian citizens are 18 years of age or older and will therefore be eligible to vote in the 2014 elections. The current voter registration process is governed by the Electoral Act of 1992.

Why should the ordinary Namibian citizen register to vote during this general voter registration period?
