The provisional national voters’ register and provisional local authority voters’ register are on display at constituency offices countrywide, among other places, until Friday, September 25. The full list of places where the list is available for inspection in office hours is listed under the Key Documents section of this website (see the Government Gazette that was issued on September 16). Voters can check their details are correct. If there are the names of people who are not entitled to vote or errors on the registers objections can be made.

With the election scheduled for the 28th of November 2014, the Electoral Commission of Namibia has confirmed the number of registered voters expected to participate during the Presidential and National Assembly elections. Majority of people registered are young people between the ages of 18-32 (45.50%). After the supplementary registrations of voters which took place from the 8-20 September 2014, the amount of registered voters stood at 1,277,578 of which 36,384 were removed because they were duplications or had died. This brought the amount of registered voters to 1,241,194.
The ECN has completed the Provisional Voters Register after the Supplementary Registration period of September 8-20 2014. The register is on display from October 1-3 2014 at designated offices countrywide. The picture shows the National Register on display at the ECN Head Office. The Electoral Commission of Namibia released provisional figures for the number of registered voters in Namibia on March 14 2014, following the General Registration of Voters (GRV) from January 15 to March 2 2014.
